Dr. Natwarlal Pitambardas Patel served as Senior Manager of Marketing at Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd. Dr. Pitambardas serves as the Chairman at Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited and Gujarat State Co-op. Marketing Federation Limited. He served as a Vice Chairperson at Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO). Dr. Patel is a distinguished cooperator from India and is associated with the movement for about four decades. Dr. Patel had been involved with the growth and development of IFFCO for a long time. He held several state and national positions in reputed cooperative societies. The Societies that have benefited from his services on the Board of Directors include Krishak Bharati Cooperative Limited, National Agricultural Federation (NAFED), Indian Tourism Cooperative, National Cooperative Bank of India. He was instrumental in promoting several primary cooperative societies in the state of Gujarat. Dr. Pitambardas served as a Director of Indian Potash Limited until November 20, 2017. He holds BSc. degree in Agricultural.

GUCOMASOL got its new building Sahakar Bhavan inaugurated at Navrangpura in Ahmedabad at the hands of IFFCO Managing Director Dr U S Awasthi. The Chairman of Gujarat State Cooperative Bank and Ahmadabad District Central Cooperative Bank Shri Ajay Bhai Patel was the chief guest of the function.

While GUJCOMASOL Chairman Shri Natwarlal Patel presided, NAFED vice-chairman Shri Bijendra Singh and Gujarat State Cooperative Union Chairman Shri Ghanshyam Bhai Amin were guests of honour.

GUJCOMASOL serves lakhs of farmers in Gujarat. The 53rdAGM of Gujarat state cooperative Marketing Federation was also held in the Tagore hall, in which large number of cooperative leaders the state were also present.
